Blind Rituals Digital Gallery is part of the documentation of an artistic project called Blind Rituals, conducted by dance artist Ong Pholchai/Spine Party Movement with dancers Toffee Sophon Tubklong and Dew Panalee Maskati.

What are Blind Rituals?

Blind Rituals investigate dance and embodiment practices as aligning rituals for the blind dancer Toffee. The process shed light on an understanding of why and how a blind person dance to cultivate himself as a person, to make sense of the world, to share his passion and for us to perhaps write a new disability myth through dance rituals as a means of holistic non-verbal communication.

This gallery will walk you through the practices categorized into three rooms (1. Line rituals 2. Texture rituals 3. Dance rituals) arranged in accordance to Toffee's score of life rituals.
